About Shane Hartford Construction
Shane Hartford Contractors Ltd is a small/medium sized building company based in Duleek, Co. Meath. Run by Shane and Alison Hartford for the past 20 years we concentrate on new builds, extensions, renovations and refurbishments to houses and schools.
Having 6 full time employees we pride ourselves on quality work carried out to realistic and affordable budgets. Where the need arises we use local subcontractors, qualified in their field, along with local material suppliers where possible to ensure a quality finished product and a backup service on completion.
All work is carried out to a budget, work schedule and timetable agreed with the client before the work commences. These can be agreed in writing, through a written contract or verbally with the client beforehand depending on what the client is comfortable with. The works are supervised by an architect/engineer or both appointed by the client for the client, and supervised by Shane Hartford for Shane Hartford Contractors Ltd. The architect/engineer signs off the build when everything is completed to their satisfaction. Shane Hartford Contractors Ltd will produce “as constructed drawings“ and hand over a file to the client on completion detailing the finished build specification and operational specification as incorporated into the build. A list of all contractors and suppliers used on the project will be incorporated into this file. These subcontractors and Shane Hartford are always available for further consultation and to deal with any issues that may arise on completion of the build.
Our company carries Public and Employers liability insurance along with Contractors all risk insurance to cover any issues that may arise during the build and for peace of mind of all clients. Although this is not displayed in this document it can be produced on request. Shane Hartford Contractors Ltd is fully tax compliant hence there is no responsibility/liability by the client to make any revenue submissions concerning building their house. Shane Hartford Contractors Ltd is fully committed to health and safety on all projects and all personnel employed by us carry the relevant skills and training certificates required by law. To this extent towards our employees Shane Hartford Contractors Ltd have a sick pay and pension policy in place for all our employees. We feel that although these policies may incur a slight increase in our overheads they do prove our commitment to your project, our employees and our professionalism.
